Alluvion Resort Hotel & Spa is located on Dong Phu island, Vinh long province, Vietnam. The chosen location is developing with great natural scenes, to not only bring a positive impact to the surrounding area and local economies, but they also maintain a stewardship for the natural landscapes and existing resources.The project consists of two main construction, the public area constructed on land, and the remaining guest suites floating and branching out in the water. 

 

The site plan and space planning has taken two concepts from the coconut tree, how it branches out, and the art of weaving craft, embraced by the local culture and craftsmans. The main public building on land features reception, open lounge, restaurant and spa facility. On the other hand, the guest suites varies from 5 different floor plans that are ADA compliant. The materials themselves are sourced locally or natural, while the building draws its energy from energy-efficient sources: the photovoltaic panels on the roof, solar tube skylights for day lighting purpose, and it will address effective indoor air quality, and LED light fixrures as an overall sustainable goal of the project.
